Originally from Massachusetts, I came to Israel in 1994 and within the next two years I met and married Moshe. In 1999 we bought our first home in Nisanit, a community in the northern Gaza Strip.

We were forced to leave our home along with 300 families in August 2005. A handful of families relocated to a community in northern Israel. It was then that I began to focus on developing my interest in photography.
​
For over four years, while waiting for authorization to rebuild, my first website went online featuring the flowers of our garden in Nisanit. The shipping container which was used to move our belongings was converted into a studio. Finally, in 2010 we moved into our new home in the Western Galilee.
